AI Draft - Where does AI Draft content come from?

We use a range of models depending on the task. Currently we prefer OpenAI's models, hosted in Azure but we're always evaluating the state of the art. What sets AI Draft apart is what surrounds the model: structured matter data and drafting frameworks from our in-house knowledge lawyers.

AI Draft - Will my data or inputs be used to train the model?

No. Neither user inputs nor AI responses are used to train any AI model.

AI Draft - Does AI Draft content need review?

Yes. AI content is new and hasn't been reviewed in advance like automated drafting. Always treat it as a first draft. All AI content within documents generated by Clarilis is highlighted, and a notice placed at the top of the relevant document flagging that this content needs additional review.

AI Draft - My firm doesn't allow generative AI tools. Can I still use Clarilis automation?

Yes. AI Draft can be disabled in an automation.

Before it can draft anything, a general-purpose AI tool has to work out what it's dealing with: the practice area, the type of transaction, the parties, the structure. That information exists, but it's scattered across documents, emails and instructions.

So either the user curates it manually, or the tool assembles its own version and hopes for the best.

No, there are no plugins or software required, if you can access the internet via a browser, you can use Clarilis. There is nothing to set up and no coding required.

Once you have created a draft document using Clarilis, you can simply download the resulting Word or pdf documents directly onto your laptop/PC. From there, you can save them to your DMS, in your chosen folder.
