Clarilis is delighted to announce that it has been named the winner of the 2020 British Legal Technology Award for ‘Alliance of the Year’ for innovative use of automation technology in relation to a number of projects with Slaughter and May, including a multi-jurisdictional project for Slaughter and May’s Competition team.
The British Legal Technology Awards celebrate those legal technology companies and law firms who are transforming the future of legal services. The ‘Alliance of the Year Award’ recognises legal service providers and legal suppliers who have delivered excellence in collaboration between all parties. This category highlights sharing and complimenting best practice, looking outward and not inwards in terms of process, for the delivery of excellence in internal and external client services.
Commenting on Clarilis and Slaughter and May’s combined entry, the judges noted:
"Clarilis and Slaughter and May evidenced an ambitious shared vision, underpinned by a clearly articulated strategy that reflects the successive phases of their alliance. The commonly developed solution successfully brought together a multi-disciplinary team composed of lawyers, knowledge professionals as well as technologists. The innovation itself leverages automation technology that materially, and measurably facilitates the work of the Competition Practice thereby creating efficiencies for the Firm and end-clients."
James Quinn, CEO at Clarilis, said:
