PwC and Clarilis announce new alliance

PwC UK and legal technology provider Clarilis have today announced an alliance aimed at solving the complex drafting automation requirements of in-house counsel and law firms.

Under the agreement, PwC’s NewLaw team will introduce Clarilis’ unique mix of market-leading LegalTech and lawyer-led managed service to its network.

Commenting on Clarilis and PwC's alliance, Alan Angell, NewLaw director at PwC, said:

"In-house legal departments are under increasing pressure as they face a rapidly changing market at the same time that resources are being squeezed.  Our NewLaw team are helping them transform by looking to greater efficiencies and adding new value through the use of data."

James Quinn, CEO and co-founder at Clarilis, said:

"We are looking forward to working with PwC, both to deepen the breadth of automation expertise presented to their network and to further strengthen our value proposition.
Clarilis is positively disrupting the UK LegalTech market. Our alliance with PwC UK will help drive adoption and growth in our sector overall. Working with PwC as part of the Scale programme in 2020 was a great experience. It allowed our team to consult with and get to know the exceptional NewLaw team. We are pleased to formalise our collaboration to assist PwC clients to drive efficiencies through use of Clarilis.”
