Clarilis, the leading provider of legal drafting automation to UK law firms, is excited to announce today Richard Batstone is joining from Slaughter and May to fulfil a new role of Head of Innovation & Strategy.
Richard has a wealth of experience from his career spanning legal practice, data science and legal technology. He spent his early career as a lawyer in Slaughter and May’s Corporate practice, before training in data science and moving to the firm’s innovation function. There, he was responsible for the firm’s generative AI strategy, as well as leading the firm's approach to automation (including projects with Clarilis).
